Pittsburgh Actor Headshot – Brian Ceponis
I’ve been doing quite a few headshots lately. I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to develop a style of headshot, something That will make me stand out from the competition. That sounds simple enough, but I’m not sure it’s as easy as it appears. I’m friends with a couple of guys at The Talent Group, a Pittsburgh Talent Agency, and over the years, I’ve come to know what they’re looking for in a headshot. The problem is, I really don’t like to do those types of headshots. The shots below are of a Pittsburgh actor named Brian Ceponis. Brian is a great guy and a talented actor. I’ve worked with him on quite a few film projects and his performances have always been top-flight, and besides that, he’s a great human being.
I’ve always been attracted to headshots that were a bit on the moody side. I like contrast and drama, with lots of shadow, and that’s the style I’d like to cultivate and be known for. The trouble is, it’s not always the style that the talent agencies are looking for. Here are some shots I did with Brian. I’m happy with the results, and from the response of tons of people online, I think they agree.
So, the bottom line is, if you’re looking to push the envelope a bit and you want a headshot that’s not quite like the others you may see, I could very well be a good photographer option for you. Keep stopping by the website, and I’ll have other samples for you to see.
