Every other week or so, I set aside a Saturday to shoot headshots for models and actors. I find it it to be enjoyable and a good way to increase my skills for shooting business headshots, commercial headshots, and other types of environmental portraits. I’m not really a social person, so it helps me in “catching just the right moment”. The big challenge for me in shooting headshots is coming up with a variety of backgrounds that don’t look like a studio environment, but some type of environment that looks more like real life. All in all, I enjoy shooting these headshots and probably will continue to shoot them for years to come.
