Throw-in

When the ball is kicked out-of–bounds along the sideline, the game is restarted with a "throw-in." The team that last touched the ball loses possession, and the other team takes the "throw-in."

Goal Kick

When the attacking team kicks the ball out-of-bounds beyond the goal line, the opposing team is awarded a free kick, called a "Goal Kick." The kick is made by the defending team and can be made anywhere from inside the goal area. The players on the team that kicked the ball out-of-bounds must stay out of the goal area and a least 5 yards away from the kicker.

Note: Teach your players how to line-up to take a "Goal Kick." If it’s your kick, have them take positions toward the sides of the field toward the middle, not the center of the field. If you are defending the kick, your players should "mark" the opposing players trying to position themselves between the ball and the "marked" player. The defending players must also be outside the goal area and at least 5 yards from the kicker.

Corner Kick

When the defending team kicks the beyond its own line, the attacking team is awarded a corner kick from the arc in the "corner." During the kick , defensive players must be at least 5 yards from the kicker.

Note: Teach your players how to line up to take a corner kick. Offensive players should be in front of the goal, but not to close or inside. The corner kick should be a hard kick aimed about 6 yards in front of the goal, so other players) can take a shot on goal. To defend a corner kick, defensive players cover the offensive team’s players in front of the goal and clear the ball to the sides.

If you wish, designate different cocaptain each game.
A coin toss determines which team kicks-off. Home team coach flips coin (alternatively pick a number).
