Area
1/2 the field
Equipment
Four cones for goals
Players
Whole team
Two teams of three

Procedure – use half the field with two one goal on either side. There are two teams, one team beside each fgoal. Give each player on one side is given a number 1,2,3.
The same is done with the team on the opposite side of the field. The coach throws or rolls the ball out onto the field while calling out a number. The player that had been assigned that number from each team, runs out to try to gain possession of the ball and then attempts to get past his opponent and score.

Key coaching points – speed usually wins

Variations – make two goals on each side. Call multiple numbers for 2v2 action.

Comments – The coach can manipulate the outcome several ways. Assign equally talented players the same numbers. Rolling the ball closer to a particular players will insure that that player has first possession.
